Meet Jay Jordan

Partner / Managing Member / Corporate Development

With deep roots in Oklahoma City and decades of experience in the energy sector, Jay Jordan brings a hands-on, relationship-driven approach to Corporate Development at Privateer Consulting. As Partner and Managing Member, Jay plays a pivotal role in building tailored strategies for energy producers, service companies, and capital-backed ventures navigating growth or change.

Jay specializes in assembling the right teams for the right challenges, what he calls “a custom chess match” for each client. Whether he’s helping a partner gain market share or introducing strategic relationships that lead to long-term value, Jay’s focus remains on forward-thinking, solutions-based growth.

Over the years, Jay has flown planes, raced the Baja, kissed the Blarney Stone, and coached countless youth teams in football, baseball, and wrestling. But his greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife, Denise, and their five grandchildren, especially when they’re gathered at the family’s Lake Texoma retreat, affectionately dubbed “The Jordan Compound.”

Jay’s values are grounded in faith, family, and hard work. Guided by the wisdom of his parents and grandparents, part of the Greatest Generation, he lives by a simple motto: “God, Family, Work: Get your priorities in the right order.”
